Rampage Raiding Loot Guidelines:

Raids should be run with Master Loot turned on and either the raid leader or someone appointed by the raid leader will be responsible for distributing loot. We at Rampage /roll on items. At this time we don't want the extra effort or drama of a DKP system. Every upgrade is an investment and makes us stronger as a guild. We should be happy for others, even if it is something we could have used. The system balances out in the long run, but is dependant on people showing up consistantly to raids.

-=The Rules=-

Rule #1: 1 epic loot per run. If every one in the raid of the class/spec in question has received 1 epic, that class/spec is "reset" and may roll again for a 2nd class/spec specific item. We will never ever forcibly shard an item someone can use.

Rule #2: The only exception to rule #1 is Tier 4/5 drops. Rampage members who are present for the kill and of the required class for the item may roll, whether they have already received loot or not. Rampage initiates are free to roll on Tier 4/5 if no members need the drop. Initiates typically become members within a few weeks, so at most you would be raiding for 2 weeks before you could roll with other Rampage members on Tier 4/5.

Rule #3: Everyone who has not already received an epic is eligible to roll on an item if you were there when it dropped and you are of the correct class/spec for the item. It does not matter if you already won something the past 3 raids, or never won something before, or showed up late, or if you are new to your current raid group. If an item drops that the Raid leader deems usable by your class/spec, you are eligible to roll on the item. The Raid leader will normally call out what classes may roll on an item. It will first go to those classes/specs who can use it best. The Raid leader may freely overide any roll if it is determined that someone can make a better use of the item. (See loot hierarchies below for more info).

Rule #4: Priority on an item will be given to those who can make immediate use of it for their primary gear. Some players may have alternate sets of gear for various tasks they perform. Items should not be taken for alternate sets of gear unless there is no one present who could use it in their primary gear. ie - Holy Paladin rolling on melee dps gear for soloing; Feral Druid rolling on healing gear; Holy Priest rolling on caster dps gear for soloing.

Rule #5: Most raid dungeons have numerous BoE epics. These will first be offered to the current people in the raid. If everyone of that particular class has the item, or doesn't want, it will be sent to the guild bank and used at the discretion of the GM. As a general rule, they will not be given to alts or characters not there for the run.

Rule #6: Alts. The 1 epic per night normally applies to each account. Some players may be called on to sub out "mains" with other characters of theirs. The IllHoof fight in particular is very warlock dependant. The Alt may roll on any epic item equal to a main.

Rule #7: Greens and Epics that are disenchanted will be sent to the guild bank. The designated Master Looter is responsible for making sure this happens.

Rule #8: Crafting Patterns. As a general rule, if a designated guild crafter is present the pattern should default to them. If there is not one present or they already know the pattern, anyone of the appropriate skill level of the proffession in question may roll on the pattern. It is expected that combines will be done for free for any guildmember as long as materials are supplied. Check our guild website to find a list of designated guild crafters.
